Residents report harassment by gangsters and inaction by cops

There are a few interesting news today which I’d really like to share with the readers here. The first one shows how useless and lousy the cops are in an area:-
SHAH ALAM: A large group of residents from Taman Perumahan Tennamaram in Batang Berjuntai travelled 90km in a school bus and several cars here to get the attention of the state police over alleged harassment by gangsters in their area. - The Star
According to The Star, there is a large group of helpless residents including of senior citizens, women and children came to the Selangor police headquarters in Section 9, to voice their unhappiness with the Kuala Selangor police over its alleged failure to stop the gangsters in their community as well as their neighbouring housing estate. I can see why there were no action by the cops, as usually claimed - Not enough kakitangan, meaning not enough cops. This is really a fucking serious problem in our country and it remains unsolved until today. The criminal rates rising in JB, a murdering of a UTAR student yesterday, and many more cases recently, are really a hard big slap on the cops’ faces, have brought a total great shame to the government for their failure in reducing crimes.
The problem of not enough cops has been around for so many fucking years, but the government seem not be able to help. So they keep recruiting more cadets to join the forces but still it doesn’t help AT ALL because not many people interested, especially the Chinese’s dragons. Hmm… I think, the more new cadets they recruit, the more corruption cases around. It doesn’t take a genius to understand why the corruptions can’t be cured in our country:-
1. The ministers are getting more and more rich. The number of sportcars and luxury cars in their house is getting more and more, and they have to build a bigger house to park all the nice cars there. They are fucking rich.
2. Our cops salary is still very low compare to our neighbouring country, such as Singapore. In Singapore, the basic pay for their lowest rank cops are already above $1,500, click here for reference. I know there has been an adjustment made to the civil servants salary recently, but still I think it’s way too low against today’s living style.
So let me ask you one question, do you want to be a cop in Malaysia??
No wonder they always say… Kakitangan tak cukup lah!! Do something lah… TIU!!

the increment is considered high compare to the past years, but it’s still very low in today living standard.
