By a chance, she met an old friend of her, who worked very well in Kuala Lumpur. She told her friend about her past, and her difficulty in living. She said she wants to find more money, to give her daughter a better life tomorrow. Then she was introduced to become a PR in papaya farm by this friend of her. She said she was reluctant to follow her friend’s footstep, but she had no other way to find enough money to give her daughter a better future.
I was sitting at the lobby with the 81. Besides telling me about her past, she also said how they run a papaya farm, the policy, the managament, and most importantly the girls. She said most of the girls working there are under a big boss or an agent. These agents are so kind of suppliers who supplies girls to papaya farms and gai dao. They run their business in a big group and they are protected by some powerful people. Some girls have their own so-called boyfriend who take them to work, which is known as guai gong or gu yeh jai. And a few of them are free-agent, just like herself.
Time past very fast, and it was already half past two in the morning. Robert called me to the room. Then the 81 said,”Time for mai-tang, and I will be off from work!!”. She asked me again if I wanted to follow her car and stay at her place on that night. I declined, but she looked a little disappointed with it. I said I have to follow my buddy’s car because I left my house key there, and I said it’s not nice for them to know I stay at your place. She’s kinda agreed with me, and said,”I just need someone to talk to. I never met someone like you, who’s willing to listen to me. All this has been hiding in my heart for some time already and I feel better now because I could speak to you, you know??”.
In my heart, I wished I could stay with her for that night too. But I felt kind of unsecured to go with her. After she finished her last sentence, she hugged me tightly with her head on my shoulder, and she cried. I was kinda shocked by her. I didn’t know what to do. At this moment, girls are at her softest side and they usually have full trust on you. So I consoled her with soft words and I said,”I will follow their car home. Maybe I can come out again and look for you, how??”.
She looked at me, and wiped off her tears. A smile appeared on her face, and she thanked me. Then we entered the room to look for my buddies. The room had been lighted up, with all the girls sitting besides their customers (my buddies lah). A waiter was there with the bill, and Annie was sitting beside Robert. We shared the bill, and everyone of us had to fork out RM300 plus for it. Besides that, we had to give tip si to the girls whom we ‘ordered’. Robert said how much to give is totally up to us but minimum is RM50. I gave the 81 RM50 only as I was fucking poor that time.
After we mai tang already, Ah Ming still had not had not enough with the China girl. He kept hugging the very-high-already China girl, and both his hands were kept inside her spaghetti. The China girl was sitting on his laps and fing tao there. The 81 told me that the China girl had taken fing tao yuen, that’s why she had already gone semi-unconscious and didn’t bother what Ah Ming was doing to her in front of public. So many pairs of eyes were focusing on the China girl’s boob because it was vibrating and moving up and down like an engine piston, thanks to Ah Ming. I think Ah Ming likes to zhar boh. that is considered damn fucking economy already. If we were to go tin seong yan gan, the bill could have upped to RM5000 and the tip si is about RM300 per girl.
I got no savings at that time. A few hundred bucks is all I had. Hahaa…
