Living with nature, Bayan Villa @ Bukit Ikhlas

I just checked through Bayan Villa website for site progress photos, a disappointed one due to lack of update. The latest set of photos updated was more than a month ago in contrast to what the developer promised here (’Everyone is welcomed to come by and view the status of the construction site, as well as checking the status on our website which is updated twice a month.’ - Bukit Ikhlas).
I signed the S & P after viewing the mock show-unit as the actual-show-house has yet to be ready until today. It is kinda risky because who knows the real-house might be varied from what we have seen in the then mock. So the only thing that I can do is to keep an eye on their development progress from time to time, and I also will check with the developer from time to time, about what they will be giving, throughout the progress. That’s why the site progress photos section is something I will visit frequently. So far I am happy with the progress though it is not on schedule, quite slow I would say.
I checked with the sales-reps regarding the slow progress of development. They claimed that their engineers have rejected the constructor’s work, so lot of redone works have to be carried out, which has lead to the delay of progress. It sounds not too bad if this is true, but it could be just a cock-talking from the sales-reps. I don’t know if it’s true or not, that’s why I will want to go to the site to find out the fact. But until today, we (purchasers and visitors) are not allowed to go to the site because the actual-show-house is not ready.
I was told that the actual-show-house would be ready in February 07, right after the Chinese New Year. Unfortunately until today, after 7 months the show house is not done yet. What a disappointment. Worse yet, they are not updating their site progress photos recently, which have lead me to doubt their words. I think I will visit the sales-reps one of these days, to demand a good explaination from them on this matter.

There is no point looking at the show house unless you are buying that particular unit.
Yes, you are not allowed to go to the site, cuz technically and legally speaking you are not the owner yet (until hand-over) and also for your safety la. You kena rock, stone, bricks whos gonna be held responsible?

but they promised we purchasers that the show-house will be ready by Q1 of 2007. And I think the actual unit will be more accurate in terms of dimensions compare to the mock unit.

hey… i am a purchaser of bayan villa too… but then the sales rep and too the purchasing rep told me a different story, they said the actual unit for show house will only be ready in May 2007. But then i agree that they are really off track on their progress. Once a fortnight me and my husband will visit the location at observe from the barier on the progress.. I tell you, they do hire part time sales rep.. just in my case, what was promised by the part timer differs from the contract, but thankful enough the developer gave us what was promised by the rep…
but then… i am also worried as the things might comes out diffrently from what we see even though we receive a black and white from them…

I do not know anything about part-time sales rep.
Black and white is not secured now as they usually have a clause to protect themselves. I am looking forward to their grand launch!!
i oso found too less information on the website,bt watever, we cannot believe the pics they posted oso, must see with our eye. So is now the show house ready for us to visit?

yes, the showhouse is ready and you can visit to it at anytime you like.
In my opinion, the website is there just because everyone has one.

btw, based on the billing, its now 65%, waiting for sewerage, drainage, roads - but because of their previous Antap Ikhlas project that was suspended, I’m worried leh. Anyone have any updates on the exact date?

Hi all, I am also buyer of Bayan Villa, court 13.Been extremely upset about all negative feedbacks and news on this project. I made a trip down there last Friday 18 APR 2008, asking for explanation on the delay, phase 1 should be ready at December 2007 but now, it HAS CHANGED to December 2008(keeping my finger cross on this promised date also).
How about you guys here? Did anyone do something about the delay. Or, any updates/ inside story to keep me alert here? I am very upset + worry.

Delay is expected for projects due to many reasons. The quality is something I concern the most.
Anyone heard of any more news for the project, waiting until neck also dem long liao. Not sure whether Dec 08 complete with, or without CF.
