A different kind of thought - Highway Lanes
By Tiuniasing | December 2, 2007
Did you notice that most of the highways have got three or more lanes now?? As you can see, PLUS (Perlembagaan Lebuhraya Utara Selatan) is massively upgrading most part the highway from two lanes to three lanes. The reason behind is very simple, we have more cars on the road now. More cars means traffic flow is heavy, that’s why we need a wider road for smooth traffic flow, especially when the pre and post big days such as Hari Raya and Chinese New Year as whole fucking Malaysian people will be enjoying at least two days off from seeing the bosses’ lanjiao face. Deepavalee has got one day off only and I don’t fucking know why. Maybe Mr. Samy is not powerful enough?? I don’t know, maybe you can tell…
I’d call this as improvement, from two lanes to three lanes. Okay, our highway quality have been improved, as well as the toll rate, but not the highway users nor the drivers. It seems like that there are many of you still have no idea which lane to drive on. Worry not, I’m here giving you some clues.
Basically the most left lane is for vehicles cruising below 110 km/h regardless the size of it. As long as you’re driving like a tortoise, please sei hoi or roll back to the left lane cepat-cepat otherwise you’ll be blocking people, and end up with your ancestors’ sex organs being cursed by people like me:-
diu lei ah yeh lanjiao, seized hoist yat bin lah!! Mm ji chao gah??
And if you’re an obedient driver who is always on 110 km, the only choice for you is the middle lane. Why?? Just because you are slightly faster than those who are below 110 km/h. By cruising consistently with 110 km/h on the middle lane, you can always overtake the tortoise without any problem. But if you accidently enter the most right lane, please lan fan to the middle lane fast-fast otherwise there is only one final outcome for you, and it is the same as the tortoise who don’t stay on their slow lane, which is your ancestors’ lanjiao or cheebye being cursed by those who drive fast:-
diu lei ah ma geh chao hai… Sei hoi lah!! Diu lei lou dao!!
Finally, the fast lane is for those who can afford to pay the speeding tickets. With everyone follows this rule, I believe there won’t be any more issues such as cars being blocked and cause congesting traffic. Ehh… I know some so-called highways such as LDP (Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong) and KESAS (Konsortium Expressway Shah Alam Selangor) have speed limit 90 km/h only; Basically I won’t call it as highways. Highway means high speed, not low speed. Otherwise it should be called “lowway” instead.

if im not mistaken, samy vellu once said that they indians dont need long holidays. so thanks to him, we have 1 day holiday only. sei sohai samy vellu.
Hmm.. I also wan to know why only 1 day.. Izzit because indian only celebrate on that day? But i definitely know why malay have more public holiday than other races in malaysia..
LDP and KESAS only considered as HIGHWAY for me when it’s after 12am every day, weekends maybe gotta be after 1am. if not, it just like any other roads although we need to pay for these normal roads. you see, these HIGHWAYS always jam like nobody business and we have to pay for this-nobody-business..
pretty frust!!
i speed normally 140 everyday , (yeap. i daily user and work outstation everyday)
i take chances, not because i like to save time, but i like taking risk, i rather killed in car acceidnet @ 180 which is sure death than become vegtable getting 1/2 killed @ 110km/h
thats my philosophy.
aeroplane1234,
you can drive even faster than that. I guess you can do better to have a good set of sports brakes, good gripping tyres and turbo charge to zip-zap between 110km/h slow cars.
Better take advantage to drive even faster now before fuel prices rise 70 cents. (many rumors)
If you don’t already notice, driving at that speed makes you use more fuel, unless you got good power to weight ratio.
BTW: If you do have accident (miscalculation), Please try to steer away from law-abiding innocent drivers & pedestrians and langgar tiang, wall or drive into a ravine instead (better chance of 100% death). Don’t drag innocent people to hell because of your reckless driving.

Wow… daring post
wow..so long never comment…but tis is funny one haha…hmm perhaps…not lowway…is NOWAY oredi haha…erm…dun drive so fast oh…take good care
wah damn complicated to drive right.
Niamahai, 140km/h HO LAN FAI meh? Go try F1 with 300km/h or SKYdive with 200+km/h by feeling the wind on ur face then called fast. Dun try this kind of cheebye speed(which not fast not slow) in public, dun kill ppl with this kind of lanjiao speed, mahai.
