    Last year

    By Tiuniasing | March 17, 2008

I was kinda tired after all the preparation works and the bachelor party the night before. In the party, I tried to limit myself not to consume more than half a dozen of beers, but I failed. Consequently I felt sleepless in the next morning, and the feeling of a little hangover was like killing me. When I woke up, I was kinda blur and did not know what I needed to do. It was my wedding day…

I looked at the wall, my suit was hanging on it. I realized that I had to wear it for my wedding. “Today is my wedding day”, I screamed in my heart. I got myself changed, I came out of my room. Some of my relative guests came; Some came from Singapore, some came from Ipoh, and some I didn’t know where they came from. Most of them greeted me with,”Ah Tiu dai gor zai lor, yiu sang sang sing sing ah.”. I asked myself, “I haven’t been sang sing all this while meh??”. I didn’t give it a damn, and I knew that they don’t mean that. It was just something everyone will say when they see someone is getting married, I forgave them.

My crony were waiting outside, but the sky didn’t look good. When everything was done, here came the rainfall and everyone had to get wet getting into the car. The bad luck hadn’t end, we had some dramas on our way to my wife’s place, some of my buddies’ car got into problem due to the fucking flash flood by the rainfall. We were trapped in the Petronas, the exit had been blocked by water, we had no way to leave the Petronas. I was in the first car, the wedding car. I asked the driver, Ah Hung to take the risk, to drive across the water-filled road as we were running out of time.

The first few cars were successfully exited the petrol station, but not Ed’s maroon BMW. He had lowered his car with AC Shnitzer bodykit on, his car was only with less than 10cm ground clearance. It is so fucking low. When he tried to cross the road, the water pressure had departed the bodykit from the bumper. I didn not see it as I had already left that place. I made calls to every car then I was told about this incident. Ed was stuck in the water. So were had to gather at the highway rest-station near my wife’s place, to wait for Ed. The grilled-pig was in his car. According to the old fucks, the car with the grilled pig has to arrive before the wedding car.

Finally everything got back on the right track after all the dramas, the rain finally stopped, Ed quitted the trap though the bodykit was departed and he made it to gather with us in time. I headed to my wife’s house under convoy by the buddies, we honked our horn as we arrived. Then followed by my wife’s cousin brother opened the door for me, I had to fork out RM20 for the open-door angpow. We waited outside the house for another rip-off round by the ji mui, another few hundred gone. My buddies were a little bit too rough and violent to the ji mui which I didn’t expect them to be so. I have to apologize to the girls who got some bruises on their body.
