When a genius meets a group of SOHAIs

    By Tiuniasing | July 31, 2008

Do you like sport?? Do you play any sport?? Are you good in it??

I play basketball, I am taking it as my part time job now. You are right, I am getting paid for playing in basketball tournaments. I had stopped for half a year due to knees injury. I had to rest for the knees recovery and the condition seems very promising. I am back for basketball but I don’t play as hard as I did last time. I have to take good care of my knees now, I do not want it to get injured again. I know it is not easy but I will do my best to avoid it from getting hurt again.

I have a few groups of basketball buddies to play with. Among them, I love to play some of them and I don’t like some too. The reason is the difference in levels. I hate to admit it but it is a fact that I have no way to deny it. All the while, I only play with the good players. What I mean by good players are those who can play well in basketball and most of them have gone through proper training like me before. Mostly the good players are from the state teams or national team.

Before I stopped playing for the knees recovery, I used to play against those players from the state teams and national team. And without a doubt that my teammates are some state players and national players too. So you can see that I was so used to play at high level games. I have no problem to play with them and I am trained to play at high level games too. Now, I have to slowly start with some easy games before I can go out and play at high level games again. But how??

Firstly, my body and knees takes time to rebuild the appropriate muscles to support the heavy load of strength and power that I need in the games. Take for an example, if I were to play with normal players, I only need to jump about 6 inches. But if I were to play with the good players, I will have to jump more than 12 inches in order to remain the competitiveness in the games. At the moment, I am dieting. Dieting means have a proper diet for atheletes. Without a doubt that my weight have gained a lot since I stopped for rest. Also, I do gym and cycling.

Secondly, I play more basketball games. Whoever calls me for basketball, I will join. For me, to grab every opportunity to step on the basketball court is very important. The only chance that I can regain the skill is through practise, to play more on the basketball court. If the basketball court is empty, I will practise the personal skill such as shooting and dribbling. Otherwise, I will play with the mates to regain my stamina, which is very important for basketball games.

Today, as usual I went for basketball at Kuchai Lama. I just joined this group not long ago because of Ah Tak, he asked me to join him. I have no problem with him but not with his buddies. Among his buddies, only one or two including Ah Tak can play well. The rest langsung don’t know what basketball is. I am not saying their skill isn’t good. But they have no brain, they are brainless. Brain is very important in basketball. Brain is like the controller of a player, the skill is only the weapon. If you have the most deadly weapon but you do not know how to use it, basically you are just a piece of shit for me. I wonder if their mother have left the brains somewhere else during the delivery in hospital.

The basketball session just now, I only played about ten minutes out of the one and a half hour session, thanks to those brainless fuckers. To be exact, I only played one game, machauhai!! In the 7 points-game, we were leading 5-3. We only needed 2 succesful shots to take the game. But my fucking-brainless-teammates just ruined my winning chances. They made shot-attempts more than I did when I can shoot better than them. They attempted the shots just because they wanted to shoot or the opponents let them to shoot. I have something to tell them:-

“Woi LANJIAO SOHAI, don’t you FUCKING know that your opponents asked you to shoot because they know you CHEEBYE surely can’t shoot the ball in?? Why were you so FUCKING stupid and following what they asked you to do?? Why did you not listen to my order to hold the shot and wait for a better chance?? WHY SOHAI?? WHY WANT TO BE A SOHAI WHEN WE WERE IN THE SAME TEAM??”

Mahai, I swear I will never play with them anymore. And I swear I will not play with those whose skill is too much lower than mine. I know I sound ego and lansi here but it is very true, it is for my own good sake. You know, if I play with the SOHAI people, I will become a SOHAI one day. I surely do not hope to be a SOHAI in front of my enemies and teammates. I want to go back to the high level tournaments, that’s why I must not play with BRAINLESS-SOHAI anymore. Sorry Ah Tak, I do not want to play with your BRAINLESS-SOHAI buddies anymore.

    2. CCB Says:

Wah lau. Good thing they didn’t cause any injury. Playing with less experienced players, some of the players get rough or make some stupid move and cause you to be injured. Sudden violent elbow, kick when in midair, trip you.

But now I also scared to play with someone like you because I didn’t get any formal training, just played when I was younger ahahaha.

If you want to practice my apartment has a private court on the premises. Then can show me a few pointers too ahahaha. The people here also play Mondays, Thu, Fridays, they’re pretty good.

      CCB,
to be frank, I am much more violent than them if I want to.

      Jason,
seriously, there aren’t many places where I can find good players now.

      qing,
      hmm…

      mankeong,
I am slightly cheaper than the national players.

    7. David Says:

We know how violent he can be on the court… he’s been named “Killer” on the court since year 1998 till now. Still the defending champion in “killing”
