Something about the China girl, Jenn - 1

Many years back when ICQ was still the hottest instant messenger around; One day, I was buzzed by an unknown contact whom introduced herself as Jenn. During that generation, we were still very active with Friendster and ICQ Search, and that was how I got ’searched’ by Jenn. After a few messages and photos exchanged, I knew Jenn is from Guang Zhou, China. She came all the way to Malaysia for studies, she was doing her degree program in Inti College, she was still single, and most importantly her photos look very promising.
We knew each other better after a few chats. For me, then, she was just another net friend of mine whom can chat quite well with me. She had my contact number as she asked from me, I gave her my number without hesitation. But I did not ask for hers because I did not see the needs of getting her number. This is me, I do not simply ask for net friends’ contact number because I think the relationship will not be the same anymore once we can communicate with each other verbally. She did not call me until one day, about three months after I gave her my number, a new number flashing on the display panel of my Nokia 7110:-
Tiuniasing :: “Hello??”
Jenn :: “Hey, it’s me, Jenn.”
Tiuniasing :: “Jenn?? Jenn from where??”
Jenn :: “Jenn, Jenn ah…”
Tiuniasing :: “Ehh… Jenn?? I don’t know anyone called Jenn.”
Jenn :: “I just chatted with you, are you on your way for lunch now??”
Tiuniasing :: “Ohh… Ahh… Okay, okay. Oh hey, Jenn, yeah, driving now… Wow, your voice is so sweet, hehee… Yeah, how may I help you??”
Jenn :: “Nothing special, just wanna hear your voice as I’m kinda missing you after you left the chat just now.”
Tiuniasing :: “Oh… Okay… Ehh… Yeah, I miss you too but I have to go for lunch now, it’s lunch break now.”
Jenn :: “I know, that’s why I am calling you… Hehee…”
Tiuniasing :: “I see. So, have you taken your lunch??”
Jenn :: “Nope, I will go afterwards. So… Are you expecting this call??”
Tiuniasing :: “No, actually no. I didn’t even remember that I gave my number to you before. I’m surprise to know you’re calling me.”
Jenn :: “Hehee… Yeah, this is the first surprise from me.”
Tiuniasing :: “Ohh… Ahh… Yeah, it’s a surprise to me. But ah… Ehh… I am not prepared, I don’t know what to say.”
Jenn :: “You don’t need to say anything. I am glad that you answered my call and I can hear your voice, your voice is so man, hehee…”
Tiuniasing :: “Ohh… Ehh… Okay. Wow, I really don’t know what to say. Ehh, you know, I accidentally hit the kerb just now, I was shocked to receive your call. By the way, your voice is so sweet, I mean very sweet…”
Jenn :: “Hahaa… Okay lah, you better concentrate on your driving. We talk again, kay!!”
Tiuniasing :: “Okay, okay. Ehh… Good day to you.”
That was the first time Jenn called me, I was very surprise with it.
